Silence is betrayal

O Muslim Ummah!

How long will you sleep?

How long will you watch Gaza burn while your tongues stay quiet and your hearts remain frozen?

How long will the cries of Palestinian mothers echo in the air while you scroll your screens in silence?

Is this the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ?

Is this the Ummah that once shook empires, defended justice, and stood like a mountain against oppression?

Because today—today you look like an Ummah that has been muted, chained, and crushed under its own fear.

Every day in Gaza, children are buried under rubble.

Every day, innocent blood stains the earth of Palestine.

Every day, the oppressed cry out: “Where is the Ummah?”

And what do we reply?

Nothing.

A deadly, shameful silence.

This silence is betrayal.

Betrayal to our faith.

Betrayal to our history.

Betrayal to our own brothers and sisters who are facing genocide while the Muslim world issues statements, tweets, and condolences—

but no action, no unity, no courage.

How dare we call ourselves the followers of Muhammad ﷺ

when we tremble before the world but not before Allah?

How dare we recite Surah Al-Fil, Surah Fajr, Surah Duha,

and still behave as if oppression has no answer,

as if tyranny is too strong for Allah,

as if the cries of Gaza will not be questioned from us on the Day of Judgment?

O Ummah!

Your silence is louder than your words.

Your weakness is sharper than the enemy’s weapons.

Your divisions are more powerful than the bombs falling on Gaza.

Wake up!

Wake up before history spits on your name.

Wake up before your children ask you,

“Where were you when Gaza was bleeding?”

Wake up before the angels write you among the silent when you should have been among the supporters.

This is not a time for excuses.

This is not a time for comfort.

This is not a time to hide behind politics, borders, or leaders.

This is a time for unity, bravery, sacrifice, and voice.

A time to stand with Palestine with every breath, every dua, every resource, every platform.

Raise your voice.

Boycott with conviction.

Support with courage.

Stand with honor.

Break the silence that has choked this Ummah for too long.

Because remember—

If Gaza falls, it is our dignity that falls.

If Palestine bleeds, it is the Ummah that bleeds.

If the oppressed are abandoned, Allah will question us for abandoning them.

O silent Ummah—

Fear Allah, not the world.

Stand up, speak up, rise up.

The blood of Palestine is call

ing you.

And this time…

you cannot pretend you didn’t hear it.
